Swam in the Great Salt Lake

I don't know that this is something you want to talk about, really. It's less a lake than a giant bowl of toxic chemicals. :) Kennecott, Hercules, Litton, they all just dump their waste in there -- some of which is radioactive -- and it wasn't too safe before they came along either.

My first serious girlfriend used to have this thing for the Great Salt Lake. I guess she imagined it'd be a romantic place to take me. It smelled bad and there wasn't much to look at. I never swam in it. Maybe I missed out. :)

I've never been there. I did see the dead sea, but didn't go in it.
