Keep a spare key in your purse/wallet!

It pays to keep a spare key in your purse or wallet. If I hadn't today I would have locked myself out of my car. I got out but then had to make a phone call so I unlocked the car and sat the keys on the passenger-side seat. After I made my phone call I got out, locked the door, then shut it. When I checked my pocket, no keys! Luckily I did have a spare in my purse and I actually had my purse too. It wouldn't have helped if my purse had been in the car too.
